Nourishing the Body - Fundamentals of Holistic Nutrition (Module 1)
Course Objective: Students will learn the fundamentals of holistic nutrition. How to apply it to Reflexology and other natural healing clients.

You will learn:
* History of nutrition as a practice.
* Understand the influence of stress on health and body functions.
* Learn how to distinguish between fact vs. myth as many widely held nutrition concepts are not supported by actual experience nor science.
* Understand the macronutrients (proteins, carbohydrates, fats), what they do in the body and healthy food sources.
* Understand the micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) and water and how they relate to the body.
* Learn how to implement changes in their own diet to make it healthier.

You will learn:
* Understand the relationship between nutrition and the digestive system, nervous system and stress management, immune, and endocrine systems.
* Learn and experience three relaxation techniques.
* Learn and experience the Five Tibetans exercise technique.
