It is all about Love

Receiving an ayurvedic massage, called abhyanga, all about LOVE.  The nurturing, rhythmic and meditative strokes are used to massage custom selected herbal oils for a full body massage.  This process is known as Snehana, which also means "to love".  When you receive an oil massage, we offer it as a loving intention and gratitude for the gift of wellness you are giving yourself.

Beyond the Love....

Our skin is one of the best and largest organs of detox. Your skin is a living breathing organ that absorbs nutrients (and toxins if exposed to them) and releases unwanted particles through sweat.  This is why ayurvedic massages (abhyanga) with a good herbal oil blend is essential. It not only supplies transdermal detoxification for the whole body through the skin, it also enlivens the skin's intelligence and supports it.
The benefits of performing regular abhyangas are innumerable:
• it transdermally nourishes the body with minerals and nutrients
• pacifies all the doshas
• relieves fatigue
• provides stamina, and induces deep restful sleep at night
• enhances the complexion and the luster of the skin
• promotes longevity
• improves circulation
• gives mental clarity
• increases longevity
• decreases the effects of aging
• reduces stress
• strengthens immune system
• rejuvenates skin to make it smooth and support fat metabolism
• softens and moisturizes the skin
• lubricates the joints
• calms the nerves
• tones the muscles
