Be Good to Yourself
Hi Healing Community,
When was the last time you gave yourself a moment of peace and quiet? Time to unplug from the demands around you to spend some quiet time with yourself. Time to simply 'be' and to remember who you are and what you'd like for yourself.
If you're like most people, you often place your needs at the bottom of the list after everyone and everything else has had their needs met or been accomplished. But all too often that ever-expanding list is never completed, and so you settle for the scraps you can get along the way. Certainly it's not a conscious choice, but one that somehow just seems to happen.
Yet it doesn't take much time to settle your mind into that peace and quiet.
The great thing is that the more you do it, the easier it becomes.
When you give yourself this offering of love and support, you discover that you can move away from all the stress and overwhelm you've been feeling, and begin to experience more peace, more power, and more purpose in your life. No longer does your life have to be filled with such sacrifice and discontent. It can be filled with a great joy and fulfillment when you allow yourself to reconnect to your deepest and most authentic self.
Everyone needs down time... even you. Especially you.
Take the time to nourish and replenish yourself. Take the time to rediscover what lights you up or makes you feel grounded. Take the time to feed your spirit with the pure connection that is always there for and with you. It's that precious time that you give to yourself when you step away from the world for a span of time. Sometimes for mere moments, others a longer expanse.
The time you spend looking inward is a gift offered to not only yourself, but also the world around you, when you allow yourself to resonate at your fullest and highest potential.
In the midst of the storm is often when you need to reconnect with yourself the most. Yet the times when things are relatively normal are often overlooked as vital to your self-care. Take the time out of each day to replenish, recharge, and rediscover the glory of life and living.
Your world will feel so much more a softer, more supportive, and loving place to be.
