I wanted to share something personal with you. When I was 17 years old, I was diagnosed with a heart condition that would require lifelong medication. Unless I moved slow and deliberate enough, whenever I stood up I would get dizzy and pass out. So I settled into a life less than the one I had planned for.
The years passed and then one day I took a shower and my life was never the same.
I had just stood up after having shaved my legs when I started to get dizzy... My body started to tingle, my vision started to dim, and I saw those familiar stars. I knew that I would soon pass out unless I sat down right there in the shower and to wait for it to pass. In that moment, the thought of doing so felt as if I was watching my life pass me by.
In that moment I had had enough.
In that moment I claimed something more for myself and would no longer settle for a life less than the one I chose for myself.
So I did my inner work to heal and resolve those things that needed to be addressed. As I did so, my heart condition healed as well and it taught me more than I could have possibly imagined.
I believe that each of us has more power than the power that we claim, and that with the proper mindset, tools, and understanding of scientific and spiritual principles, we can create a life of magic and miracles.
It worked for me and it can work for you too.
What do you need to pay attention to that you've been avoiding? What is in your life that if you actually focused on it could offer you tremendous wisdom about yourself and your situation?
