"Heroes didn't leap tall buildings or stop bullets with an outstretched hand; they didn't wear boots and capes. They bled, and they bruised, and their superpowers were as simple as listening, or loving. Heroes were ordinary people who knew that even if their own lives were impossibly knotted, they could untangle someone else's." ― Jodi Picoult, Second Glance.
I want to take a moment to honor the hero that you are. Yes YOU. No matter how ordinary you might think you are, you've been someone's hero. Maybe you listened to a friend when they were down. Maybe you made a meal for your sick neighbor or helped someone move. Maybe you smiled at someone who really needed a little kindness. No matter who you are, I know you've done something good for someone somewhere and I want to thank you for it. This life can be a challenge and the world needs heroes like you. Thanks for all you do. Keep up the good work. :)
