The menial  washerwoman is transformed into a character of superhero proportions.  In this production washerwoman is everywhere, she forms a union and leads one of the first successful US labor strikes, she is a saint of Hinduism, a diva of grand accomplishments, an Irish Banshee, a redeemer and remover of sins, an inventor, historian,  a friend,  a mother, Kitchen Guy and and perhaps yourself,  Enjoy Washerwoman's many faces and expressions.
We are reading the poems in a project to explore a full theater production. It will be great
