Spring Cleaning in the Kitchen
Sunday, May 20th
11 AM - 2 PM With Susan Pack and Carol Nace
Ah, Spring is here and it is time for spring cleaning, and no, we do not mean your closets! At your local markets, there is a fresh abundance fo many purifying and detoxifying dark green vegetables. Not sure what to do with all those dark leafy greens, such as Kale, Spinach or Asparagus? No problem! During this hands-on class, you will learn how to use these luscious spring greens to make amazing dishes that are not only cleansing to the body, but they are tasty too. In addition, we will make homemade paneer (traditional Indian cheese). Throughout the class, Susan and I will share the benefits of these cleansing recipes, which includes their affect on detoxification, diabetes, cholesterol and weight control. Each participant will be able to sample these simple, yet flavorful dishes. Sign up early, as we only have room to accomodate 8 participants.
Early registration (by May 14th) $35
