Tantrum

I came home from work the other day and my kids had the house in 1000 shades of chaos and disarray. I was so tired and they started up with their arguing and messing up even more.

I hit a breaking point and said, "I can't take this anymore! How would you like it if I made messes all over for you guys to clean and tore through the house like a crazy person?" I proceeded to jump on the sofas, stand on the chairs, pretended to throw my crayons and coloring books all around. Faked liked I was leaving legos everywhere people wanted to walk.

The kids sat, open-mouthed, staring at me in shock. I went on with this rampage for several minutes (thinking that I finally had their full attention and that if I acted out all of their "bad" behaviors, they would see how ridiculous they were being and they would want to change). After I displayed what I thought was a sufficient amount of psychoticness, I said, "Now see how you guys look! How would you like living with someone who did that?"

After a few seconds of being frozen with disbelief, they both cracked up laughing so hard they rolled around on the floor hysterically, yelling, "DO IT AGAIN, MOM!!! PLEASE Do it again!!! That was the funniest thing I have EVER seen!!"
