The Most Important Organ to Cleanse

Food is medicine! And we don't think of it that way. Let's do some pre-spring cleaning with our liver the most overworked organ in your body. We are so good about cleaning outside of us. What about cleaning inside with a simple Liver/Gallbladder Cleanse:
1 T
bsp. fresh squeezed organic lemon juice
1 Tbsp. or
ganic olive oil
1 Tbsp. (or to taste) of raw organic honey - (look for unfiltered and unprocessed). For diabetics use a few drops of liquid Stevia with no alcohol.

Dissolve all in 4 oz. of warm non-chlorinated water.
Do not heat water in the microwave...heat on stove.

Do first thing in the morning before you eat or drink anything else. Please buy all organic ingredients as
non organic fruit contains more than 20 pesticides.

Use filtered water and not tap. Tap water has fluoride and chlorine and our liver and body work better without chemicals.

Take this drink for 2 weeks to a month and then take a break for the same amount of time. You may do it again and again but always take a break.

Note: If you do not have a gallbladder then this drink is important because your liver is working harder.

Your liver plays a major role in detoxifying the body. It is responsible for:

  • Filtering and processing all food, nutrients, alcohol, drugs, and other materials that enter the bloodstream to let them pass, break them down or store them.
  • Manufacturing bile to emulsify fats for digestion
  • Making and breaking down many hormones, including cholesterol, testosterone and estrogen
  • Regulating blood sugar levels
The quality of virtually every function your body performs depends on your liver. In addition, the liver is the anchor for all emotions, which means that the negative emotions we experience are stored there. In today's world of poor diet, excess alcohol, and environmental toxins all around us an excess of toxins can build up in the blood and tissue. Doing this drink can be a first step to cleansing the liver. Contact the Hayden House if you want a more in-depth detox to fit your desire to honor the body.

Young Living Peppermint Oil
"I had a terrible headache that nothing would touch. I put peppermint oil on my forehead, temples and neck and felt so much better within seconds! Also, Michigan summers can be hot and humid and I feel all 'stuffed-up.' I can feel the peppermint oil penetrating my nose and sinuses and feel 'cleared-up' very quickly. Thirdly, it tastes so good and yummy, like a peppermint candy stick without all that sugar!" - A.B from Michigan

So effective, it is believed to be part of the "Marseilles Vinegar" which was used by 15th century grave-robbers to protect themselves against the plague. Anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, pain reliever; Peppermint has many medicinal properties and can be used to safely/naturally fight cold sores, nausea, headaches, scoliosis, arthritis... the list is extensive. "If I get heartburn, indigestion, queasiness, gas, or any other stomach/intestinal symptom, I take about 4 drops of peppermint oil in a small glass of water. No matter what the issue is, the peppermint makes it go away within minutes. Peppermint is also anti-viral, and this past winter when lots of people around me had the stomach flu, I took peppermint every day and didn't get sick." - C.T from Wisconsin
